TWLUTL - How Our Group Made Decisions and Solved Problems:
Whole team went through analyzing the feedback and capitalizing on key inspirations in order to solve the problems in game. Initial feedback we noted was that our game controls were “Janky” and it was difficult to control the player direction and where player aiming to shoot. The shooting mechanics was also found to be unpolished, with bullets moving very slowly as compared to our game. Also, enemies did not feel like a threat to player at all. To address these problems, we focused on polishing the player controller and adding aim crosshair in game for better aiming and making both the players and enemies at least 50% faster. We also implemented different gameplay modes in our game, including Elimination, Survival and Goal. This helped us in providing more engaging gameplay as each level comes with its own surprise.
